Now that I know several ways of making them taste like "heaven," I'll certainly bring them into the kitchen. But I'll have to wait until next year. Because you are relying on your taste of them in the field (so to speak) you are not getting the subtle sweetness that comes out in relationship to the dressing.

Perhaps it was the bad economy but I ate quantities of them this spring - free greens, delicious, packed with vitamins and they are supposed to be great at detoxifying the body.Elizabethhttp://www.elizabethtorak.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-34807760944605181662010-05-09T11:15:04.636-04:002010-05-09T11:15:04.636-04:00Sonya, true, lots of things are better with bacon....Sonya, true, lots of things are better with bacon.Eulalia Benejam Cobbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13247079657985430691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-89906298580766043072010-05-08T23:10:05.080-04:002010-05-08T23:10:05.080-04:00You can chop a soft-boiled egg?You can chop a soft-boiled egg?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-73787362814296382112010-05-08T20:53:28.148-04:002010-05-08T20:53:28.148-04:00Dandelion greens are heaven IF you add well-crispe...Dandelion greens are heaven IF you add well-crisped bacon, chopped soft-boiled eggs and a light vinaigrette. It is mega-greens season here and the CSA is bursting with salad fixings. Including dandelion greens, in fact, which are just fine by me. But we eat mustard greens in salad, too. So maybe we're not picky.

3. We eat red salads, too, but there are greens. My basil is usually still ok when the tomatoes come in--maybe a little on the anise side but basil, tomato, and mozzarella? Stick your face in.Bridgetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12843150280542615265noreply@blogger.com
