It's not the farmer "Down the road" but the three chicken farmers in our CSA are within 50 miles and do the right thing. I've met them. There is an open invitation to visit their farms--I haven't yet, but I have visited the pork farmer.

Thank you, though for the red speck tidbit. Because I always kind of wondered about that and looked the other way.Bridgetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12843150280542615265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-62808695425872139502013-06-27T07:42:03.754-04:002013-06-27T07:42:03.754-04:00Those double yolks are a sign that you're livi...Those double yolks are a sign that you're living right, Indigo.Eulalia Benejam Cobbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13247079657985430691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-4511660462907339702013-06-27T06:58:52.845-04:002013-06-27T06:58:52.845-04:00I like this post. Many thousands of chickens in a barn? The organic eggs are better, but many are labeled so, when the chickens have never actually been allowed to roam free outside. It's all a bit of a scam I'm afraid. Irenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05043376053971475659noreply@blogger.com
