Just up and died, crispy brown wilted sadness. The ones in pots are going fine. I think my dirt is sick. But only for tomatoes. The strawberries, basil, peppers (same family!!), lettuce, peas, etc., did/do fine.

My spinach bolted in May. The leaves were as big as my thumbs and it was done. But the okra and sweet potatoes look promising.Bridgetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12843150280542615265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-57426980526607104212012-05-30T12:19:44.119-04:002012-05-30T12:19:44.119-04:00John, thanks for the link. The bugs are on the march.

In the meantime, carpe okra!Eulalia Benejam Cobbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13247079657985430691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2226876762714358061.post-43400733632897698632012-05-30T10:07:24.266-04:002012-05-30T10:07:24.266-04:00I have been surveying my own garden and its early ...I have been surveying my own garden and its early production of vegetables (Okra is beginning to come in). But this "short" on the Scientific American web site caught my eye.
