Not to seem cruel, but I hope he/she lives near the river....BTW, our hens were out in the storm all day--they could have come inside at any time, but they preferred the outdoors.
Our immediate neighbors are o.k. Mostly wet basements but nothing worse. However, nearby farms have suffered a lot of damage. We haven't heard the last of it, either.
